Ciao a tutti amici, oggi andiamo alla scoperta dell’Indonesia, in particolare sull’isola di Sulawesi, situata tra Borneo e le isole Mollucche.
L’isola di Sulawesi è un’isola molto varia, da una parte si trovano le montagne Torajans le cui valli ospitano varie popolazioni indigene e dall’altro troviamo splendidi scenari acquatici come per esempio Palau Bunaken.

COSA VEDERE/WHAT SEE
Makassar, capitale dell’isola, città principale per gli scambi commerciali essendo dotata di un grande porto è una cittadina molto caotica e popolata. Uno dei principali luoghi nella quale poter fare shopping è Pasar Sentral.
Nel caso vogliate qualcosa di più rustico e locale a 250 km a nord da Makassar nella città di Rantepao potete trovare mercati locali, negozi e botteghe di artigiani.
Per ammirare un paesaggio più naturale potete dirigervi a nordovest di Manado alla Benaken Marine Reserve che ospita in 80 chilometri quadrati alcune delle specie di animali e coralli più rari del mondo.

CONSIGLI PRATICI/PRACTICAL TIPS
Il periodo migliore per visitare questa magnifica isola è tra giugno e novembre, anche se essendo attraversata dall’equatore mantiene una temperatura di circa 20/30 gradi. La cosa più importante da sapere è che il periodo dei monsoni parte da novembre fino a circa metà aprile.
Per quanto riguarda le diverse regioni dove alloggiare consiglio anche la regione Toraja meno turistica e più fedele ad usi e tradizioni della popolazione.
Altra bellissima regione è anche quella di Minahasa nella quale potete trovare moltissima vegetazione.
